Mapping the course catalogues of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the
ADB Institute (ADBI) to the UNESCO Green Skills framework —
with analytics on sector and stakeholder relevance.
--:--:--
UNESCO Green Skills = “the knowledge, abilities, values and attitudes needed to live, develop and
support a sustainable and resource-efficient society” — spanning technical/occupational skills used in
green operations and transferable competencies (systems thinking, anticipatory thinking, strategic
action, collaboration, critical thinking, normative judgement). Mapping method: each course is scored for
green relevance (High / Medium / Low / None) and tagged to UNESCO green-skills domains,
competency clusters and stakeholder groups.
